15th Annual Peachland World of Wheels May 19th, 2013

Each year thousands of spectators descent onto the streets of downtown Peachland for one of the biggest events in the Okanagan Valley. The 15th Annual Peachland World of Wheels Classic & Antique Car Show will be held May 19th this year and is expected to be one of our best shows yet.

More than 525 classic and antique cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats from across Canada and the United States will line the streets of Peachland's picturesque waterfront. Amongst the polished chrome and spiffed up paint will be multiple food vendors, music, shopping, the annual Royal Canadian Legion beer garden, automotive related displays, games for kids, and special entertainment, including a performance by "The Connectors" at Heritage Park.

The Peachland World of Wheels event was started by local car buff, Al Wiebe, in 1997, then in 2008, a board was organized to oversee the highly popular event. Today, the Peachland World of Wheels consists of a small group of five dedicated local directors who arrange all aspects of the incredible day.

With forecasts expected to near the 30 C mark, the 14th Annual World of Wheels Classic and Antique Car Show will once again make for a great family day. Organizers are expecting this year's event will feature more eye-catching cars than ever before, breaking the 10,000 attendance record and sending us into new digits. Come out and see why the Peachland World of Wheels has become Peachland's signature event!
