National Flag of Canada Day Contest

In celebration of National Flag of Canada Day (our flag’s 47^th birthday is on February 15), Canada Place in Vancouver is hosting the 2^nd annual National Flag of Canada Day Photo Contest. The online contest runs February 1 – 15 at www.Facebook.com/CanadaPlace. We’re giving Canadians the chance to submit their best photo showcasing the Canadian flag while entering to win a Long Weekend Getaway for two to Canada Day at Canada Place in Vancouver including: $1,500 Air Canada travel voucher, two nights accommodation courtesy of the Pan Pacific Hotel, a tour package courtesy of West Coast Sightseeing, a Zipline and Eye of the Wind Adventure package courtesy of Grouse Mountain, and the opportunity to experience the largest Canada Day celebration outside Ottawa – Canada Day at Canada Place.

Peachland is on The Canadian Trail at BC Place

Located on the Canada Place West Promenade, The Canadian Trail is a unique walk across Canada, using surface tiles and coloured glass to depict our vast and diverse country. As you travel along The Canadian Trail, search out familial roots or marvel at some of Canada’s uniquely named cities. The Canada Place West Promenade is divided into 13 equal sections to represent our 10 provinces and three territories.
