Experience what the Provincial CIB judges saw. Just a few of their evaluated comments:

"The approach off Highway 97 into Peachland provides you with a vista of Okanagan Lake that is stunning. One cannot help but to be intimately aware of the vast number of people enjoying Peachland's unique feature of eleven kilometres of public beach waterfront on Okanagan Lake".

"Peachland is a holiday mecca for thousands of visitors. The Peachland Council and Municipal Staff have developed and maintained the infrastructure, beachfront, parks and other aspects that make living and visiting this community a true and pleasurable experience".

"We truly believe that Peachland residents are blessed to be part of a passionate and caring community".

"We hope to revisit someday, not as judges, but on our own time with our families".

Visit us in summer and witness happy people, beautiful floral displays and gardens, and feel the sense of public and civic pride. During the Competition, Volunteers planted over 2000 trees and plants for all to enjoy. Plantings were to replenish riparian areas as well as for beautification. This reflects the ancient Greek Proverb: "A civilization flourishes when people plant trees under which they will never sit".
